About Meredith
As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I believe meaningful mental health care begins with feeling heard, understood, and respected.
My path into psychiatry was unconventional. While completing my undergraduate and graduate education, I spent several years working as a bartender—an experience that gave me a unique perspective on human connection. People often felt comfortable sharing their stories, challenges, relationships, and personal struggles with me. I learned that some of the most meaningful conversations happen when people feel safe enough to be honest and know they will not be judged.
That experience continues to shape the way I care for patients today. I strive to create a welcoming, judgment-free space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences and actively participating in your treatment.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and individualized. I believe mental health care should feel like a partnership rather than a lecture. Instead of focusing only on a diagnosis, I want to understand the whole person—your experiences, goals, challenges, strengths, and what matters most to you.
Together, we can explore treatment options and build a plan that feels realistic, meaningful, and tailored to your life.
My goal is for you to leave each appointment feeling heard, hopeful, and a little lighter.
"I believe mental health care works best when you feel comfortable, respected, and actively involved in the process."

Getting to know Meredith
When I’m not caring for patients, you’ll usually find me spending time with friends and my partner, enjoying a good puzzle or game, or cheering loudly for my favorite basketball and football teams.
I come from a big family and am the only girl with six older brothers, which has definitely shaped my sense of humor, connection, and ability to hold my own.
I also love to travel and was fortunate to explore much of Asia and parts of Europe in my 20s. These days, I’m focused on prioritizing my health through weightlifting and staying active. I may not consider myself an outdoors person, but put me near a paddle board or just about any body of water and I’m happy.
I’m also passionate about interior decorating and love creating spaces that feel comfortable, inviting, and unique.
I believe life is about finding balance, staying curious, and making time for the people and experiences that bring you joy—and I try to bring that same philosophy into the way I care for my patients.
